They worked hard were able to get us table with in 30 minutes. I will say that was busy day for them and I won't blame them. It is tucked away in the first floor of a University of Scranton Building and no signage outside. Real LOX, Real good! So glad to be able to have it again! Only bad point. is it not being open on the weekends For those looking for it: It's on the corner of Linden and Jefferson. The entrance faces the church on the other side-of-the-street if standing on Jefferson Ave. Park on Linden Street!”

“My family went to Carmen's on December 23 for their Brunch. My wife and I where looking for a place that would have both great food and a nice atmosphere for Christmas. Unfortunately Carmen's did not live up to our expectations. While the old train station is still beautiful it is in need of some repairs. The antique style Santa Clause that is in front of the building looks like he can use a power washing. From my seat I could see poorly run wires and plaster patches on the walls. While the building was decorated for Christmas there was no music to set the mood, live or recorded, which was a truly disappointing considering they have a baby grand piano. The Food quality was good however it was lukewarm at best this includes the gravy for the turkey and mashed potatoes. I kept looking for a microwave to heat my food. My son's girlfriend enjoyed her fresh omelet and the turkey was not bad but I have had better at other carving stations. The Bacon was cheap restaurant quality that was lacking in taste. I will admit that they had a great desert area and the service from the staff was amazing! Over all the place was nice. Actually the quality of the service is what earned them a third star! Would I go back? Maybe. I must admit that there are better brunch options, in the same price range, in Scranton that I would chose to visit first.”
