“Wow, a great hidden treasure in the middle of a themed loving community. Nice beer selection and huge food selection, not just German food, with specials. The German food selections are authentic and really well prepared. Try the hot German potato salad and the pretzels. They outdoor seating offers great scenic views of the main square. The wait service was prompt and polite.”

“Ate there Saturday night and it wasn't very busy. The decor was nice, but with a name like Black Angus I expected more than two cuts of steak on the menu. We started with the onion rings. The presentation was off putting; sauce was just poured on the plate and rings piled on top. Is it a brew pub or fine dining? They're somewhere in the middle, but they really ought to just pick one and do it well. I went with the Schnitzel, and I've never had meat that tough before. My son order the "hand formed" burger. The patty was enormously thick, but much smaller in diameter than the bun. The flavors were good, but it's those overlooked details that make the place just an ok place to eat, rather than a great place to eat.”

“Great food and service. The ambiance was beautiful and the customer service was excellent. Definitely recommend. My only issue is that they ran out of several things on the menu and it was still pretty early in the evening. The server and the Manager went out of their way to compensate and make it right. Other than that, had a great experience.”

“Hot coffee, great service. This place is a treasure from the past. The frontage does it no justice. The burgers are amazing, and the service is old style so it comes with good local talk and old fashioned conversation. Hot coffee keeps coming and made to order food is out in a few minutes. No rush on anything so you can hang for a bit after you eat and relax. This is definetly worth the stop, it has all you want to have at meal time. Easy in and out, easy parking, clean bathroom, and a cool atmosphere, all that is missing is the 25 cent music boxes at the table. Stop in and say Hi!”
