Max's Eatery

I love Max's! The smash burgers are wonderfully delicious. Today, I had a very challenging morning professionally. While seated at the lunch counter, one of the waitresses (I think her name was Christine or Christina) kindly asked me how my morning was going. I shared that it had been a challenge. In between busily going back and forth to take care of all her tables, she encouraged me and brightened my day with the most delicious milkshake. I don't often get milkshakes for lunch but her kindness did the trick! I felt 100% better and was ready to go back and take on the rest of the day! Great restaurant, great food, lovely people! Been here half a dozen times and this place continues to be awesome. The menu is limited, but what they do make is great. Tonight, Frito pie. Not the healthiest meal in the world, but with the jalapeños and chili, it's a home run. I love the decor and surroundings. Trendy without being stuck up.

Food was delicious! My husband had a smash burger and he said it was the best burger he'd ever had. I had the Quick Cluck sandwich which was also super yummy! I took off one star because the service was soooo slow! There weren't many other people there, but yet our server kept going in the back and disappearing. When I did see her, she was just chatting with the lady working at the bar and never really checked in on us. My coke was empty but she didn't seem to care. Thumbs up to the food. Thumbs down to the service.

I've been dying to try this place ever since I heard they opened. I'm a night shift nurse, and was thrilled to hear they were open until 2am! Some friends and I went around 1030 on a Friday night. They have a limited menu at that time, but my sandwich and Italian soda were still delicious. The atmosphere is half the experience-- think hipster diner. Will definitely be back!

This cute little diner style restaurant is great! The atmosphere is cheerful and fun. Our weight staff was very efficient, checking in often. I got a chicken Caesar salad that was really tasty. My family got a burger, shake, tater tots, and the spinach salad. All were very pleased. The black and white shake was particularly good!
