Chilangos Authentic Mexican Restaurante

Love this place. Definitely more authentic then a lot of other local places. If you don't like it I can only imagine you want unauthentic chain tex-mex style ,like a Chili's or something???? I would give it 5 stars except a few small details for a perfect 5 stars.

I had lunch at Chilango's on 03 May 2019. Complementary salsa and chips (warmed) we're given to us after my group and I placed our orders. It was a light atmosphere with bright colors and lots of sunlight. The place was clean and was decked out with Mexican decorations and appeared brightyly colored. The door way had a motion sensor that played Fur Elise by Beethoven, which was pretty annoying, but easy to tune out. Otherwise, Spanish music played which was easy on the ears. The staff was friendly and punctual.

I ordered the Burrito Norteño. It was cooked properly and according to the menu description and tasted delicious. The meal was very affordable and you pay at the counter when you're done. Total meal time was about 45 - 60 minutes.

This is a BYOB establishment. Cash/Credit/Debit accepted.
There may be a wait time, so if the weather is inclement dress accordingly as there is not much space to wait inside.

Great place to eat in or take out. We always love the food, and the staff are always kind and helpful. They have delicious fresh made salsas and sauces.

Charming, authentic and friendly. Flavorful salsa. BYOB, but they do have the yummy fruit shakes. More sauces & vegetarian options would be welcomed, but the veggie burrito is a nice start (add a cheese or red sauce over top and you have a winner!!!
