“I ate here recently and was absolutely shocked to read some of these reviews. I had a wonderful dining experience. The food was awesome, unlike any other restaurants around. All of my food seemed to be homemade and was excellent! The people were awesome, it felt like they were welcoming me to their home. They were all so accommodating, offering good intelligent conversation. I really felt at home here. This is a place I could see myself coming to for years to come. After reading some of the comments, I'm shocked. I feel as if I got a totally different experience. Mark my words come this time next year this restaurant WILL be the IT spot in New Castle. If you've had a negative experience in the past I urge you to go back and then give another review. I bet it will be quite different from your first!”

“Before we left for home my friend suggested we head to Ladies of the Dukes she said it was unique and she was right we ordered our food as well as I decided well sitting there that I would take my sons food back to Canada with us so I ordered food to go for them well after eating we had so much left over that our boys had probably had three meals each out of the food we took home. The establishment is what appeared to be a little white church very banquet feel but homemade delicious food and very bountiful a for sure doggy bag. If you ever stumble across this unique little restaurant only open on a Sunday but by seeing the little place is hopping and always full you know that the food is good.????????”

“Went for taco Tuesday. Wasn't disappointed. I had beef soft tacos, and tried the chicken ones they were all pretty good also had the bbq nachos, which were really good. The baraquoa was awesome, and wasn't loading with other filler. Just chips, meat and a creamy, but thin cheese sauce. Probably not worth the trip from Pittsburgh, but if your up that way, I would highly recommend it”

“I had a large order of Smelts, which are little breaded fish filets and they are absolutely delicious! Light, tender, flaky, crispy and hot). We were there with a fairly large party celebrating my sister's birthday. We had a large round table, which was immediately set with our drink orders 2 baskets of fresh baked, warm bread with butter (a lot of restaurants these days forgo those simple extras to cut down on price. So, I like to give credit to the old fashioned restaurants, who still believe in giving you warm bread loaves with your dinner. Usually, when I get Smelts, I get them to go and by the time I get them home, they are somewhat warm, not as crispy and -- you know how they just lack that hot "out-of-the-fryer" crunch? So, I was really delighted with the crisp hot "melt in your mouth" Huge serving of golden Fried smelts. 3 big wedges of lemon, Which I always squeeze over top of the entire dish and AA huge serving a cocktail sauce for dipping. Again, I usually have to ask for more cocktail sauce, but not at Pagley's. This service was fantastic and everyone in my group left happy, full, and content. Once again, a 5 star dinner birthday party at Pagley's family, Italian restaurant on the East side of New Castle.”

“My husband and I are in New Castle every week because of elderly parents and being Vegan/Vegetarian, we have a difficult time finding restaurants with options. I read about the vegan burger at Riardo’s, so we tried it out. It was the BEST vegan burger we’ve ever had. We were so happy about the vegan options and are excited to try them all. And, even the beer was great! Besides the food, the staff and owners are so courteous and kind and take the time to mingle with their customers. We were even able to meet the chef to give him 2 thumbs up. If you haven’t been to Riardo’s, I urge you to check it out. Who knows, you might even see us there. ????”
