“My wife and I have frequented the original Carlisle Redd's over the past couple years, and we were excited to learn they were opening a (much larger) site on the Carlisle Pike, in Mechanicsburg/Hampden Township. We have really gotten into barbecue over the past 10 years or so, from Upstate NY to SC, and have never had any better than Redd's. The sampler plate we had was truly great, and the "bacon on a stick" was a revelation. The interior of this new restaurant has been built-out very tastefully, especially considering some of the previous designs at this very accessible location. Congratulations on a job well done!”

“Great food! Lunch time is busy with limited seating. The food is well prepared and comes quickly with good portions. There's a good variety of at least 5 sauces to go with your meat. The fried catfish is good. The Texas Steak Chili is good (no beans). Fyi they only have bottled drinks and if it's busy, you'll have to get it to go.”
