First of the music took me back on vacation, so I chose to dine in. I felt like doing something different then the usual gyro or kabob and went for the Greek Lasagna..I would have taken a pic, yet I was hungry and forgot lol. Very different from the traditional Italian version and still delicious . I tasted a hint of cinnamon and it was confirmed by the chef. Instantly fell in love with it. Will go again.

Having moved from NY, we have been looking for authentic Greek food and we finally found it! We had a little bit of everything and being “Greek by marriage” I can confirm it is AMAZING! Portions are large, price is very reasonable, and the owners are such nice people. Definitely have a family of customers for life!

Greek Islands Express is a recently opened small Greek restaurant. The owners, Dimitri and Sarah, are extremely personable and eager to please customers. Though it is tiny, it more than makes up for with excellent food. Great spot for a quick bite. The prices are reasonable as well. My daughter commented, in between sighs of food happiness, that her gyro had a good amount of lamb, and the tzatziki tasted authentic compared to other places. The owners also plan to expand their offerings. We will surely be back soon! Don't hesitate to give it a try.

The best. Period. Owners are amazing humans. Food is some of the best Greek food I’ve had, takes me right back to memories of trips to Greece with friends and weekends in Astoria growing up. Don’t hesitate, come try it for yourself. Dolmadakia (stuffed grape leaves), Lamb gyro & Marouli salad are bomb. Enjoy!

Was driving by and decided to stop and take away. Demetris, the owner, was very welcoming with a rich history in the Greek food business. Got the daily special (youvetsi) a couple of gyros and rice pudding to go. The food was absolutely delicious and well seasoned. The portions were big too. Will be returning soon!
