Ralph's Corner Diner

What I ordered: egg, American cheese, on a grilled Kaiser roll, wrapped (Don't want plastics in a landfill). What I got: 2 fried eggs, a slice of cheese, on an UNgrilled Kaiser roll, in a plastic box, in a plastic bag. Just over 5$. From order to pickup about 5 minutes. Country western music prominent in the foreground. Sandwich was OK. Atmospher was visually nice, and wait staff was friendly.

The food is good, but service very much depends on what waitress you get. Our first visit was great but this time we had a different waitress than the first time. Our waitress this time was named Kristin. I ordered waffle a la mode and wasn't told until the food came that they were out of ice cream. Not a huge deal but I likely would have ordered something else if I had known. I was offered whipped cream or fruit instead but I chose to just use the butter provided. When the check came, we were still charged for the waffle a la mode. We eventually were able to flag down the waitress and when we asked why we were charged for the a la mode her answer was "That's what you got." While it is what we ordered, it isn't what we got and we explained that to her. She took the check, corrected it, and brought it back without a word. No apology, no anything, just a sour look on her face. If you're lucky enough to get a good waitress it's a good place to eat!

This is the perfect edition to Ralph's Corner in Lansdale. Went with a friend on a rainy day for breakfast, and we both got skillets. It came with an egg, hashbrowns and your choice of fixings, plus 4 pieces of toast. I meant to take a picture before I started eating but I was just too excited. The prices were great, service was very fast. Portions were good sizes. Our server was pleasant too. I just wish it was open for a little longer though, it's not always easy for me to get time to make it over there.

I thought the diner is what this fast food area needed. A sit down relax with some good breakfast and lunch food place. Both of our dishes were very good. We left stuffed. Will be back.
