Awesome food! Great quality! They make better quality sushi and rolls than fine dining! I ordered party tray for 6 people and price was awesome and we had food left. Thanks Sakana!

This place opened up about a month ago. Ever since my first visit to Sakana, this place soon became my favorite spot for sushi. It’s a small take out place that’s cute and clean inside located on rittenhouse place in Ardmore. Their food is always delicious and fresh. And you won’t miss your average ginger dressing after trying their sesame dressing for the salad. I’ve tried almost every sushi place on the mainline and this place is absolutely the best (the prices are also reasonable). My go to is their salmon plate which is so fresh all the time. I haven’t tried their specialty rolls yet since I’m not a big saucy eater but I’m pretty sure they are amazing too. You should definitely give this place a try, otherwise you will regret it!!

Stopped in for a spicy salmon roll and an eel avocado roll curious about this new sushi place in Ardmore. Was very pleased. Sam, the chef, was pleasant to talk to and generous; he had me try one of his ikura hand roll, not yet on the menu and a sesame dressing on his salad which was a great alternative to the traditional ginger miso most offer. Prices are great! I will be back.

A good place to take out very fresh sushi and rolls at a reasonable price at Ardmore. My family enjoyed their fresh sashimi and sushi tonight. The white tuna and the salmon they use are extra delicious and fresh.
