Food: fantastic! Service: impeccable!
I haven't been here in 20-ish years. I forgot all about it and ended up choosing this place based on location (meeting friends at a mid-point). The location is high on a hill and gives great views of the city. There is valet parking in the small lot or you can search for street parking not that close by. We made reservations and were seated right away with only half the party. Our waiter was super nice and attentive. Everything we ordered was very well made and tasty. My favorite was the pomegranate martini. The dessert cart was also very tempting and well displayed. It makes you want dessert even if you're completely full. I enjoyed the creme caramel most (similar to a flan). The cream puffs were also good and not overly sweet. The place could use a spruce up, especially the bathrooms, but the dining area has been very well maintained. It felt upscale, but not stuffy. We were not dressed up and didn't feel out of place. Will return!

Classic Italian restaurant with a very old fashioned menu, that has not been updated much over the years. Food is average. Service is good. Reasonable wine list.
