Sabrina's Cafe

Today was my first time eating at Sabrina's. I had heard a lot of good things about the food and everything I heard was true! I had the brioche French toast and it was awesome! Cooked to the most amazing golden brown. I also ordered a side of Turkey bacon and home fries with cheese and peppers. The home fries were addictive. The service was also great. All in all it lived up to the hype

I've been to Sabrina's Cafe a couple of times and every previous visit was great. I usually have some breakfast food which in my opinion is their forte. This time I wanted to try something different. I went for a burger. My wife also ordered a burger, but a different one. We both felt that they weren't great. They were ok at best. Maybe our expectations were too high because of our experiences with breakfast. Dessert was great.

Overall, the food is very good, also, great coffee! The service is friendly, but, lacking in details like having utensils at the table before the food arrives. I recommend getting on their waiting list ahead of time--it gets very busy and crowded-- my chair was bumped multiple times by staff when I was sitting next to the server station. They have 2 unisex restrooms that are clean except for the sticky part above the doorknob.

I am vegan and they do have some vegetarian/vegan items, but, not much. So far, I have had:
* the veggie burger--fresh, but, bland. Needs a do-over.
* tofu scramble--very good, a touch too salty for me, but, I will order it again.
* Al a carte, my creation: breakfast potatoes with spinach & avocado. Potatoes are not seasoned, but, they made the spinach as I asked, with olive oil and garlic--very good.
* veggie sausage--very good.
* fresh mixed fruit--very good.

Excellent Cafe that gives lots of food. The quality of the food is wonderful and the staff really great. Often there is a line waiting to get in especially on the weekends. But a great place to go for good eats. I always enjoy the breakfast meals and often take some back home with me.

3 star for the food options. 2 things we ordered were out of stock and we came before the dinner rush. Kids meal was too large, my daughter looked at the burger and refused to eat it as it was way to big for a child. She thought it was for me.
Thankfully the rest of the food was flavourful.
