There was a group of 5 people. One of us have had a stroke and speaks very softly. But she did point to the senior dinner... The order she got was the full-size dinner...$20 instead of $12
The waitress was professional and brought over the floor manager who was not professional at all.
My friend refused to pay the full amount and the floor manager told her not to come back.
Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"
So as long as you don't get into a problem like this everything will be fine.
I myself havebbeen back several times with no problem.
My friend has vowed not to go back ever again, which is very sad for the rest of us.
Prices are a tad high, but the amount of food is good.
The food was excellent! Perfectly cooked and portions were big, enough to take home for another meal. We'll be there trying out the different items on the menu. Also they really fixed it up! It's a clean, fresh, relaxing atmosphere! They really put a lot of TLC into the old place????????????????????????
My wife and I were craving a late night dessert and coffee. We were NOT disappointed! Upscale cake selection is fantastic. I chose the cannoli topped while my wife fell in love with her Boston cream. Staff was super friendly and attentive. This was our first time and they nailed it!
First time visit since the renovations.
Very spacious, lots of room.
Dining room was near full but never seemed crowded.
Service was on the slow side, although I've experienced worse at other places during a breakfast rush.
I got the creamed chipped beef over white toast and home fries with 2 over easy eggs on top.
.......needed salt! I know salt shakers are on every table at every diner but just a dash would have made everything taste less bland.
Also my 2 overeasy eggs never made it to the plate. I had to remind my server about it as well as my partner's espresso.
Portions were good, prices were OK($3 for 2 eggs seemed excessive)
It's a nice place to take your grandparents to(or if you can't find parking at Ice House).
