“Looking for a great diner?? You have to try the WQ at the corner of king and rt 100. Too many selections to chose from but all looked delicious. Waitstaff were very friendly and efficient. “I am always skeptical about ordering southern food on this side of the Mason-Dixon line where we commonly think salt and pepper is adequate spice. When I opened my container of Fried Jumbo Shrimp Meal I knew I was going back to the South via my taste buds. This was the best fried shrimp I have ever had! The potato salad and cornbread were phenomenal. I would pay double for this meal and my only regret was not ordering the collard greens.”

“Barristers is in our neighborhood and we like to order for pickup once a week or so. The staff are unfailingly polite and always get our order correct. The bagels are delicious - there's a wonderful variety, they're large and have a very satisfying and toothsome texture. We usually opt for plain cream cheese or an egg and cheese bagel sandwich but we're looking forward to branching out. And of course we always get the whole wheat bagel with peanut butter for my son. The iced coffee is strong and dark but smooth, reminiscent of Starbucks but less bitter and about half the price. One small recommendation: simple syrup is easy and inexpensive to make in a saucepan with water and sugar, and will keep for over a week. It works much better to sweeten iced coffee than granulated sugar. And some almond milk alongside the half-and-half wouldn't go amiss! Thanks for breakfast this morning! We will see you again soon.”

“Over the last few months J.J. Ratigan has quickly adapted to the takeout requirements and become a favorite local option for food and beer. They boast a broad array of menu options, ranging from small plates to full entrees and locally sourced sweets, which consistently meet or exceed recommendations. Recommend their smoky take on a Cuban sandwich and the crab nachos are a delicious cheat meal/shareable. Their beer selection won’t blow away beer snobs (myself included) but their lineup is diverse and crushable. They also currently offer growler, crowler, and pints to-go while putting out some sweeter beer smoothies for those seeking something different. Keep an eye on social media for crowler discounts! In the past we’ve encountered large crowds and slower service inside. However, they’re much more efficient and attentive with curbside and, now, the outdoor seating. The area is small, but conveniently situated with live music on select nights. Highly recommend for elevated pub food, weekly specials, and/or a social distance friendly night out!”

“A hidden gem for Egyptian food lovers. Being familiar with Egyptian food, I can say that their menu is simple... but it's delicious. And the bonus is that she not only has special dishes on some days (mashi, seafood), but she'll do custom orders for people with special requests. They just need a few days notice. I also have to note that she makes the best chicken soup I've ever had... literally. My mother elf kill me id she knew that! ;)”
