The people working were very pleasant. My GF had the chicken enchiladas with the green sauce, refried beans and rice. She enjoyed that as well.”

“I've eaten at the Palm tavern before and have always had excellent food, but I was a bit disappointed with my last visit. I ordered a burger, after my daughter raved about them, but it was not that great. I ordered the burger medium well, but there was no pink to it, and it was quite dry. For a normal burger, this might be okay, but this thing was really thick and had charring in the outside. It was a chore to eat. Next time I will order medium, but I didn't want it to be too rare. The french fries were excellent as usual, but they were cold when our food arrived. And boy did we have a long wait for the food. There servers were friendly and serviced us quickly at the table, but the place wasn't busy at all, and it took about 30 minutes to get our food. Again, this visit was opposite of every other time I've eaten here, when my food was awesome and arrived quickly, so hopefully it was just a fluke. I will definitely try again, as I had good experiences before, but that was several months ago.”

“Great, fast & super friendly service; food was excellent (had spaghetti & meatballs) and even the salads were great. Unique, with pickles. Still going 5 stars even though it was uncomfortably cold in the dining room! It’s ok - we did ask if the gas fireplace could be lit and the gal spent time trying on a busy Friday at 4..I appreciated that. Will definitely go back.”

“Update: yup miserable girl still here from time to time seriously bad for business, absolutely miserable. And PLEASE fix the issue with the wonton sometimes it's the best ever and others inedible I don't understand the huge difference but lately not good. So i'm updating my review, I've been here at least 30 times since my original review and I've mostly had a good experience, I'm giving them 4 stars from 2. The service is usually pretty good, no matter if I've come for take out during dinner rush , I've always been waited on in an acceptable amount of time. I will comment on a customer service issue I've seen in other reviews, it's a younger Asian woman that has a terrible attitude, she hates her job, isn't remotely pleasant on the phone and even worse in person. Seriously, she should not be tending your front counter or needs to know she's in the service industry and nobody wants to be waited on by a miserable person. The good news is I've rarely seen her, most of the time it's a younger Asian man who is absolutely pleasant, ..he speaks clear English and is super friendly and has always provided excellent service. The food originally was just ok, since I've had the opportunity to eat here many many times and it's rare I have that quality of food anymore. The egg rolls are crispy, large and not greasy, they are very good. Pork Fried rice is exceptional, General Tso and Wonton soup are honestly hit or miss, either fantastic or good, never bad. I can say this is the best Chinese food in the area, I know, I've eaten at every other one.”

“This is a cozy little restaurant with country decorations in a strawberry theme and friendly people. The food is very good and they also have a lot of bakery items they make. It is easy to see from the road and there is parking in the front and side of the building. I had the chicken Florentine soup and the main entree I got was grilled chicken topped with asparagus and Swiss cheese which came with a choice of sides. Everything tasted great!”
