P.F. Chang's is s very good Chinese restaurant. I enjoyed the food and thought it was very good quality. More importantly I visited with s group and everyone concurred including 2 guys who know their Chinese food. Service is with a smile and the atmosphere was very good.
We went right at 530p, did a call ahead reservation and only waited about 7 minutes for our table. I was really upset that the waiter didn't tell us about half priced apps before 6pm though. VERY mad. What I ordered was on the app menu and I should have gotten it half price if he hadn't waited until 6pm to put in our order! I guess I cannot assume he did it on purpose... Anywhoo. The atmosphere is great. Food was great. Wish they would have filled my water faster. We then went over to Wegnmans for desert and had a super yummy salted caramel brownie to share.
We visited last night for my daughter's birthday. From the moment the waiter, Nick, greeted us, we knew we were in good hands. He made it a point to make make my daughter feel special. We ordered lots of new items this time based on his recommendation. Everything tasted delicious. As always, the food was fresh and hot when it came out. All gluten free items were handled separately. Nick even washed our soup bowls again to take all precautions. Somehow our waiter managed to get a gluten free dessert with a candle, even though there are no gf desserts on the menu. There was a wrapper for evidence. This was, by far, the best experience we have had. Thank you!!
Used to be one of my favorite places, but things seem to have changed. Dishes seemed smaller than before with less rice. Our apps were missing sauces that used to come with them. The old "we make sauces in front of you" seems to have also stopped. Still a nice experience but it felt less 'special' than it used to. Previously I wouldn't have hesitated to give 5 stars but now tops out at 4.
