“Second time visiting the Old Forge for lunch. The wait staff's attention is excellent. Fast, friendly, helpful service with a smile. The beer is of course is delicious with a choice on the menu for everyone. I would have given it 5 stars except for the food portion. Last year when we visited, the chicken sandwich was huge with lettuce,, tomato and the chicken hanging over a huge, fresh bun. My last visit on Saturday was much smaller. More of a plain hamburger bun with a small slice of chicken. Although the portions were fine for this visit, I was just expecting more. The pretzel is deliciously warm and pairs with any beer. Great place with even better service and beer. I will try to get back.”

“Nice place for a drink and a bite to eat. They don't make the best drinks but can definitely make your normal everyday jack and coke pretty well. The draft selection is small but usually has something with drinking. They have some good cast iron dish pizza and also have these things called sidewinder fries which are pretty much oversized fries cut in a swirl and remind you of baked potatoes. It's your typical town bar, not a dive but nothing special.”

“A very great restaurant located in the heart of Danville. I remember when this restaurant was hyped up in the news and it did live up to the expectations. The restaurant has a modern theme and is very cozy. There are outlets at every table if you wanted to charge your phone or do a little bit of work with your laptop. The food and drinks are delicious; there is nothing to complain about. Although, since it is a small restaurant and with COVID's restrictions, there are not many tables available. The smoothies were perfect. The colada had some amazing flavor and the berry was good too (I preferred the colada). They'd taste great after a hot day or a nice workout. For $6 they're definitely on the more expensive side and for me, I'd only get them if I felt like having one. The Rainbow breakfast burrito was soo good. To be honest, I had low expectations on this burrito and once I took a bite, I was shocked! I didn't know a vegan burrito like this could taste so good! The veggies had lots of flavors and so did the beyond sausage. Overall, spectacular. The bowl was pretty similar, except the burrito is way better. I loved how the burrito filled me up but didn't make me feel bloated. The Pasta bake was also super good. The pasta was creamy and was packed with flavor. Such a delicious meal! This will now be my go-to. Tso good cauliflower was super good! I got it for my family and they all liked it. And it’s super good values too. It can definitely feed 6 people and for only $35 that’s a great deal. You have to warm it up though. 350° for around 45 minutes was good. I also had to stir it a few times. Overall, such a great addition to Danville. I'd say this is is my go-to for healthy food around here. Check out their online menu; it shows photos that helps a lot. For the price, I believe the food is worth it. The price is similar to a Chipotle meal, but this is much healthier. This place has shown me that vegan food can taste amazing.”

The lady who waited on me at the counter was nice, and I must also commend the Danville Burger King for applying cheese atop each individual patty of my double Whopper, rather than only atop the uppermost patty in the stack. This, in my opinion, is the proper method of double Whopper cheese distribution, and it is an excellent model that other Burger Kings would do well to emulate. It is for this reason that I grant the Danville Burger King the coveted 5-star review.”
