Tavern at the Sun Inn

Visited with a few friends on a busy Friday night. Their cocktails are excellent, and you can tell they are doing the very best they can with such an old building as far as layout is concerned, plus the first floor museum definitely gives something unique to look around at if you do encounter a bit of a wait. Service was exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and site.
However, my one criticism is the food for the price. The food itself wasn't bad aside from a few minor nit-picks, but when operating in historic Bethlehem, surrounded by so many great food destinations in the same price range, I have to say I left mildly disappointed in the large plates. The deserts, however, were very good.

Good food, fantastic decorations and amazing style. I was expecting to be way more pricey but it was really good. Honestly it's a gem. Super nice staffs and good quality food.

This is a very cool place to have dinner. To start the resturant provides a very historic atmosphere that makes it unique. On top of that the food is excellent. We went during a prefix dinner night and every course exceeded our expectations. I would definitely return for a special occasion or date night out.

I am a History buff... being in here was both elegant and exciting. 5 presidents slept there and 14 declaration of independence signers... how Cool is THAT !

We went on a Wednesday night which was awesome because it wasn't busy at all. We had one of their house made ciders, which was amazing. We shared the Governor's Board which was also very good. I had the pork chop which was perfectly cooked. My husband had the crab cakes which he also enjoyed. Definitely will be back again.
