Restaurant

“We had a great time trying out this new restaurant in Easton. We often visit other restaurants in the area and we’re excited that we can add Meli to our list of go to restaurants on a night out. To start our waiter William was amazing, very attentive, and provided great suggestions. 😆 The octopus, scallops, and Brussels sprouts were our top 3 things. The Kevin Peacock cocktail is a must! I loved the aesthetic and can’t wait to come back to try other items. 😇”

Johnsonville Inn

Address: 415 Johnsonville Rd, Bangor, PA 18013, USA

Restaurant

“This was our first time eating here at the Johnsonville Inn. I found it to be an average restaurant. Let's start with the atmosphere. The dining room is very bright and bland. They've crammed in as many tables as they can so it's a little tight in some spots. It was extremely loud we couldn't talk to each other during our meal. They had live music that night and the acoustics in the room are not suitable for live music. It is also a very small room so you can imagine how loud it was. So, if you’re looking for a bar type atmosphere that's very loud this is the place for you. Let's move on to the food. We had ordered a couple of appetizers. The stuffed mushrooms weren't very tasty, they had some type of balsamic vinegar glaze on top. We also had the Caprese which was OK. I ordered the chili as my soup, and it wasn't really that good. It lacked that chili flavor and had huge chunks of hamburger just thrown in there. I also had meatloaf which was tasty. I like the mashed potatoes a lot but overall, it was an average meal ,nothing over the top. The service was good Our waitress was very attentive and came back to check on us periodically to make sure everything was OK. The prices were reasonable.”

The Raven 96

Address: 669 N 13th St Suite A102, Easton, PA 18042, USA

Restaurant

“I came here for Sunday brunch and had a great experience. They had live characters for the holiday (Grinch, Santa, Mrs Clause) to go around and interact with the guests and kids, they even took photos and entertained the guests that were waiting to be sat. This along with the decorations and music really made a wonderful experience for everyone. I think restaurants that have been around for a while should take notes on how to improve their atmospheres. Service here was also great, any interaction with the staff was pleasant. The food is great, they have options for everyone and it’s made fresh and from scratch with an open kitchen. It’s nice to see a new place like this can actively enhance the community. Will definitely be back soon!”

“Update 2: they now ship nationwide. I’m still going to the store, I live in Jersey. Update: if you have a favorite pastie, call before you go as some are out of stock and I was told that they may not stock them due to costs. My favorite, the pork and sauerkraut is not available. Disappointing but still many to choose from. Enjoyable meat pies. Cooking directions are suggestions, depends on your oven. Cover folded edges with tin foil, burnt mine the first time around. Wawa

“The place is clean and staff is nice, but there is no way simple milkshake should take 12+ minutes, especially when there are no other orders. The first time it happened I thought it was a fluke, but to have it happen multiple times is disappointing.”

KUNG FU II

Address: 4402 Birkland Pl ste 5, Easton, PA 18045, USA

Restaurant

“What an amazing restaurant, hidden in an un-assuming shopping center! The food was top notch, from the classic sushi rolls, to the nigiri and sashimi, and even the kitchen appetizers and entrees. For the $27.99 all you can eat option, me and my friend were able to experience many different parts of their menu. I don’t think there was a single thing that we did not like. The most surprising roll: the mushroom shallot roll! Give it a try. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was very nice inside—not too big or too small, and a very clean aesthetic. I am so happy I finally got to try King Fu II and I will absolutely be back!!”

Cross Pizza

Restaurant

“I stopped in the new Crossing Pizza joint today, eager to satisfy my hunger with something hearty and delicious. The aroma of freshly baked pizzas wafted through the air, teasing my senses and beckoning me closer. As I perused the menu, my eyes settled on the intriguing option of Buffalo Chicken pizza. It called to me, promising a tantalizing mix of flavors and a hint of spice. Unable to resist, I ordered a slice of this daring creation, along with a classic plain pizza. As I savored my first bite, I was transported into a realm of culinary bliss. The Buffalo Chicken pizza surpassed my expectations, with its harmonious blend of zesty chicken, tangy buffalo sauce, and a sprinkle of blue cheese dancing on my palate. Each ingredient played its part to perfection, the sauce to cheese ratio striking just the right balance, and the seasoning on top added a delightful touch. But let us not forget the humble plain pizza, for simplicity often holds its own allure. The unadorned canvas of dough and cheese was a testament to the beauty of minimalism. Here, the sauce and cheese reigned supreme, showcasing their quality and taste. The crust provided a crisp foundation, while the cheese melted into a gooey symphony of flavor. It was a comforting and timeless slice that satisfied my cravings with every bite. To complete my visit, I had the pleasure of conversing with the owner of the establishment. Their genuine warmth and friendly demeanor added to the experience, ensuring that not only my stomach but also my spirit was nourished. In our discussion, I learned of their future plans to introduce delivery services, an endeavor that would surely expand their reach and bring their delectable creations to even more hungry souls. As I left the Crossing Pizza joint, my taste buds satiated and my heart content, I couldn't help but feel that I had stumbled upon a hidden gem. With its impeccable sauce to cheese ratio, perfect seasoning, and the promise of convenient delivery, this pizza haven had planted itself firmly in my gastronomic repertoire. Noma would have approved of this culinary adventure, and so shall I return for more, embracing the flavors that awaken my senses and celebrate the simple pleasure of a well-crafted slice.”
