Let me start by saying this is a hidden gem. We walked into the restaurant and were immediately greeted with the smell of good food. Ms. Cherry and her son were very friendly and welcoming. Everything looked so good that we wanted to order everything. We probably did. What i love is that the food is fresh. I felt like i was eating at my Aunts home. The oxtail is absolutely delicious. Falling off the bone and flavorful. The jerk pork soft and spicy. The jerk seasoning was on point. It had just the right kick. The pepper shrimp was also a hit. The macaroni and cheese delicious! They have patties and coco bread which made me so happy. We also ordered jerk and curry chicken. Which were just as good. Ms. Cherry is so sweet. They have found a new customer in me. I will be going back and trying more. Take my advice and go. Comfort food at its best.

If you want delicious food cooked with love and passion and a big heart this is the place. Everything—oxtails, brown stew chicken, plantains, rice and beans, corn bread that’s light as air, yams that beat them all. And, big smiles greeting you. And, wonderful, helpful service. It’s like visiting Cherry’s kitchen and her son, Tony, rounds out the whole experience. Check out the Jamaican sodas while you’re there too! We’re going to be regulars!

Best Caribbean food in town! Platters are a great size, you have many different choices. You can mix match, different portion sizes and sides. The restaurant is a little hard to spot but its definitely a hidden gem. The customer service is great, super friendly and welcoming, and the food is even better! I recommend to everyone I know! Food is amazing!!!

This place is amazing. And I’m not sure what’s better, the people behind the food or the food itself. Freemansburg is really REALLY lucky to have such a wonderful place. Before you start considering the feedback left in the poor reviews, you should know this place is small. So yes, it wouldn’t surprise me to know they probably run out of items every now and then seeing as though they don’t have the physical space to keep a glutinous surplus of every ingredient on the menu. But that shouldn’t keep you from trying something else on the menu should the thing you want be unavailable. These people are so incredibly kind, and genuinely want you to have a good experience and enjoy their food. I’d recommend this place to absolutely everyone with an appetite. Love love love.
