“We are staying at the lodge visiting family in the area. One of us is a golfer. We had dinner on a Friday night. The staff were friendly and professional. We were welcomed and seated with a casual attitude that fit the evening. The menu is varied but not extensive. This is a golf resort after all, it isn’t the Cheesecake Factory. We both decided on pretty standard fare. The lady petit steak while I had the Veal Chop. We both had carrots and mashed potatoes as our sides. I had a garden salad. The carrots were perfect cooked with a little crunch. Mashed potatoes were smooth and tasty. Both meats, as they say now “Protiens”, were cooked to perfection, tasty and tender. Weekends they have music. This was very nice end related to the audience with professional courtesy. DONT FORGET TO TIP. We didn’t have dessert as the lady said I didn’t want any. The staff were literally soup to nuts perfect in making us feel welcome and respected. There were a few folks eating that obviously desired privacy and this was given. I think any group from a privacy desired couple to a group of or family would be happy These folks work so as usual DONT FORGET TO TIP.”

“Love this place the food is very good here. What I like is the variety but also that it is adventurous but not outlandish. The staff knows what it is good at and also what the clientele likes and tries marry the two in a way that presents favorites in a different way. Portions are very good sized but not huge. I have a hearty appetite and am never hungry when leaving. They have a great play area for kids that is viewable by the parents from all seats. This is great if you have a group of adults who want to converse for an extended period of time. The nice extra bonus is that their is an excellent ice cream shop attached that serves excellent dessert options!”

“This was the favorite local pizza shop for my husband and myself. Then we heard that the owners had changed and so did the menu. I was hesitant to go back because, honestly, I had not heard good things, but I decided to give it a shot, and we ordered a pizza. It was very good. No complaints here!”

“This is where I got married! Every single detail was perfect. Just about the only thing you could complain about is the "man cave" for the groom. It could use some TLC. But, it had pool tables, ping pong tables, poker tables, shuffleboard tables, TVs, video games, etc. Otherwise, this was the most beautiful golf course I have ever played on with my best man. The best wedding food that I've ever had (and super accommodating with dietary issues). Extremely nice rooms on-site for an after-party, if you book them all. Everyone knew where to be and what to do. If so much as a button fell off your shirt, they'd be there in a minute to repair it. Incredible service. Also recommend using the vendors they regularly work with!! Like John Wirick, Roxie, Bridal by Suzanne, Dice Productions, etc. They all knew how to play together perfectly.”

“Gem of a restaurant. Historical building that is warm and quaint inside. Homemade salad dressings were delicious. Appetizers are good and unusual. Cajun mussels were delicious as well. Several great dinner choices. Crab Mac and cheese and crab casserole were very good. Prices are reasonable. We will be back.”
