First time here; we are more than pleased with our tasty food& beverage menu. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I feel the menu descriptions can be a bit vague for those with allergies. The staff is excellent and thorough so I doubt any issues regarding the menu descriptions, for Future allergy scenarios but just in case.... ask! The cod and limoncello are far beyond the 5 star rating I want to give. I’ll be back

Was expecting pub food and drinks, but it turned out to be seafood based place. Seems very nice otherwise.

This place is absolutely amazing. We went on a Friday afternoon and we had great food and drinks. Not to mention that the service was amazing, everyone was happy and give us the attention and service we need.
I'm really thankful we discover this place where atmosphere, food and drinks are just a great package. See you soon !!!

Nice outdoor space. Food was good. Server friendly. Beer ideals a little odd. Gave me a 12oz beer pour cause the abv was 8% (on a DIPA). Typically that move is reserved for higher abvs. 8% is commonplace/standard any more for quality IPAs. When a draft, 16oz is expected

My review should be taken with a grain of salt because I was there for a wedding reception that I didn't plan. I got the impression that they don't host them often, because they didn't really have a plan in place for using one server for the whole room and making sure nobody was skipped. They also didn't cut the cake for the party. instead, the bride's mother cut and served the cake. I had to ask for coffee near the end of service because two tables had it and the rest were bypassed.

As far as food was concerned, there were parts of the dish that were missing for every dish on our table. This complaint was mirrored for three other tables we spoke to, as well. The kids didn't get their promised fries until we asked, the steak had no mushroom sauce and tasted like char instead of seasoning or, you know, steak. It was perfectly cooked, however, so kudos to the actual grill chef. The green beans were awesome, as well, but the potatoes had zero flavor even after liberal salt addition. I had the haddock and although it looked like it had paprika on it and it tasted like butter upon butter, there was no flavor to it at all. I added the quarter of a lemon that was provided and still couldn't get a flavor profile to rise.

The drinks were delicious, so no complaints there. I had a chance to look at the regular menu (keep in mind we are in the middle of a pandemic) and their offerings looked like they should be tasty and it all fell in the category of what I would normally order. Steak, fish, lobster, pasta, all fun things. But if I had to decide whether or not to come back based on the food we were served at the reception, the answer would be a resounding no.

As far as the party room goes, it was a lovely stone walled room with a mirror all along one wall. We were perfectly distanced and masks are required if you weren't seated at your table. There are private restrooms for the banquet room, as well.

I would love to come back and try again, maybe after the virus stops rampaging through the country, but for now I think I'll keep my distance.

EDIT in response: Again, it was not my reception to plan or mess with. I believe the person who did plan it had enough in her hands without adding to the stress of a pandemic wedding. I appreciate that you would have preferred to know at the time, but the staff attending to us had plenty to do, there was only two, and I have worked in food service and retail way too long to be THAT customer. I was asked by Google to add my two cents and I did. I was honest and I do plan to come back and amend my opinion during normal business rather than this crazy time. I don't live here, though, so I can't come back to chat and make you feel better right now. Your servers were very kind and understanding and I can only hope they are being compensated appropriately for taking the risks they do every day. Please have a fantastic rest of your summer and I hope your staff and family are able to stay healthy.
