“This was our first time eating here at the Johnsonville Inn. I found it to be an average restaurant. Let's start with the atmosphere. The dining room is very bright and bland. They've crammed in as many tables as they can so it's a little tight in some spots. It was extremely loud we couldn't talk to each other during our meal. They had live music that night and the acoustics in the room are not suitable for live music. It is also a very small room so you can imagine how loud it was. So, if you’re looking for a bar type atmosphere that's very loud this is the place for you. Let's move on to the food. We had ordered a couple of appetizers. The stuffed mushrooms weren't very tasty, they had some type of balsamic vinegar glaze on top. We also had the Caprese which was OK. I ordered the chili as my soup, and it wasn't really that good. It lacked that chili flavor and had huge chunks of hamburger just thrown in there. I also had meatloaf which was tasty. I like the mashed potatoes a lot but overall, it was an average meal ,nothing over the top. The service was good Our waitress was very attentive and came back to check on us periodically to make sure everything was OK. The prices were reasonable.”

“We drove past the sign for Apple Blossom Village one day not knowing what it was and decided to take a chance. The village is what appears to be a converted farm with many fun things for the kids to do, especially in the fall months. They had activities even for teenagers as well as locally made baked items. You can spend a few hours here easily!”

“Been here several times and have always enjoyed it. The waitresses are very attentive and personable, but not intrusive = just about perfect! The menu is very extensive and offers many choices of sandwiches, pasta, meats, seafood, breakfast (available anytime), sides, salads, and don't miss the "specials" (a full sheet of paper! ) Try to save room for dessert, too! My food has always been very good and comes out hot (the right temperature). Even my cup of hot tea was served at the right temperature - other places, it served too cool, but they get it right here at Mt. Bethel diner. Definitely going back again!”

“Cheese Pizza - Excellent in every way - texture and crispness of crust, seasoning in sauce, cheese, etc. I Stopped in while picking up my grandson, we were going to have a couple slices but he had fallen asleep in the car (he's 4). Took 2 slices to go and figured we would have them later. Just heated them up (4 hours later) and wow just amazing. I am a "New Yorker" but this pizza has them all beat. It would almost be worth the 1 1/2 hour ride.”
