I love this place. The staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous and the food and atmosphere are wonderful.

Overall experience 5star.
Another wonderful restaurant in Philadelphia. Stir- at the Philadelphia Art Museum was worth the wait. The beautiful space, designed by Frank Gehry, was not the only treat. The lunch was wonderful. I had the parsnip pear soup which I loved. My husband had the crab cake which was just about 100% crab and very little filler. And our server gave us cookies when we were done. It's a perfect place to grab a bite.
The remodeled and revamped Stir is a nice surprise nestled within the Museum. The decor is a modern, artist chic (appropriately) that is reminiscent of the Museum's own architectural collections in the floors above. Stirs is only open during lunch and on Sunday serves brunch until close; we had the quiche, the avocado tartine, and the blueberry pancakes. We were impressed. The pancakes were light an fluffy, sweet without being overwhelming, the quiche savory, and tartine crispy without being crunchy. We will absolutely be back.
Note that the restaurant requires Museum admission. Do both for a perfect midday date.
The Philadelphia Museum of Art announced the opening of Stir Restaurant, a brand-new dining establishment designed by architect Frank Gehry, part of the Museum’s facilities master plan. The restaurant is managed by Philadelphia's Constellation Culinary Group and will open on October 16, 2018.
