While the downstairs gets all the credit, the upstairs bar has the best specials in Philly. John behind the bar makes some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had - oh and they’re 5 dollars no matter what time of day....

Went in on a Saturday night, waited 30 minutes to be seated after our reservation time but accommodating bar upstairs or downstairs while you wait. Was concerned with the wait time how the rest of the meal was going to be since it’s a new hot spot. The drinks and food came out extremely fast. The food is priced extremely fairly for the quality and quantity. The drinks were fantastic. Worth the wait!

Giuseppe & sons is my new favorite for Italian food in Philadelphia. The ambience is very cool, the food is phenomenal and the staff is very friendly. Great place for a date, get together with friends or dinner with the family. The menu has something for everyone. Highly recommend the chicken Parmesan and the wild boar bolognese!

First of all, our server Brian was fantastic - very friendly and made our experience as good as possible. The ambiance of the restaurant is cool, the long hallway as you walk in puts you back in time! However, as soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a crowded noisy bar and it’s confusing to find the host stand. Our table was super tiny and was too small for the free flowing kitchen. Where are we to put the plates! The couch and chair that were our seats were either too high or too low and lead to us leaning over to eat.

We ordered cocktails and they were all great! Nice combinations with a little Italian flair.

Food was, well, fine. There was nothing we ate that was special and everything seemed pretty ordinary. In a city with amazing Italian American cuisine, there’s simply better options if you’re looking to pick a place for the food. Can’t deny the great vibe though!

I love Schulson restaurants particularly for the atmosphere. They know how to create a sexy, chill vibe. This one does not disappoint. Food was amazing. It's definitely on the pricier side, especially the wine list, but worth a splurge. Not sure I can make it a regular go to, but special occasions or business meals, it's a great place to go.
