A great addition to Philly's Indian food scene. Their menu is extensive with variety that is unmatched in the area. The food quality, taste and spice levels are as traditional as they can get. Definitely a food paradise for Indians and others alike!

Finally a decent South Indian restaurant in Philly! Food was very close to what you might expect to get in India and thus the 4 stars. However, the wait is unbelievably long! It was very crowded up until their closing time on a Thursday night. If you are ok to wait for an hour to get seated plus get your food at the table, you must give this little gem a try! Pro tip: go for lunch or at times they may not that crowded for a better service experience.

I am not somebody who writes reviews, but this caught me. After a very long time, I had perfect south Indian home food!!! I went there three consecutive weeks and writing this review after that. Me being a decent cook myself, don't get satisfied with Indian restaurants easily, but this one made me emotional! The name of the restaurant says it all!

One star less, because nothing is perfect and they will need to keep working to keep up. Hope they don't get lost as they become older and loose the authenticity of the south Indian food.

My wife and I had a fabulous lunch here. We are real fans of northern Indian cuisine, and this was the fist southern Indian restaurant we have visited. The distinction was most apparent in the menu- the names of the dishes are completely different from the north Indian ones. However, when the food gets to the table, there are many familiar combinations of spice and flavor. We asked for our food "spicy", and the waiter tried to talk us out of that decision, but in the end our food was served at a heat level perfect for us. We will definitely be going back.
The Manchurian cauliflower appetizer is superb!
A star is held back due to the cramped quarters, high decibel levels.

The food here is amazing! The curries are rich, complex, and perfect for a cold winter day. Might be my new favorite Indian restaurant in Center City. Came here on a Friday night around 7:00 PM and getting a table was easy. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. Do yourself a favor and stop by the next time you're in the area! BYOB.
