The Greatest little secret this side of the Mississippi. Excellent food and options. Frances has been there for years doing the same great job. Location is perfect by the train station/city ave/St. Joe's and there is always parking available.

The owner is super friendly . Food was absolutely AMAZING. Cornbread was the best I've ever had . I'll definitely recommend this spot!

The food here is not bad and you get large servings! It is truly made when ordered so you'll have an hour wait if not longer for your food. I do think the lady should have someone assisting her so the wait times are shorter. I'll definitely come again to try something different from the menu.

My family and I ordered the salmon string beans and potato salad., ribs, collards, cabbage, chicken, and yams.
It was simply awesome!!!!!! Everything was made from scratch. I truly recommend .
Lastly, platters range from $15- $20 I felt the prices are fair for quality food. Also the restaurant owner is absolutely delightful. I would definitely return.
