LeBus East Falls

I am surprised about the high ratings. Was here last fall and was disappointed, but gave it another chance last night. The word mediocre is what comes to mind. The menu is boring. The flavors are bland. I had the jambalaya, which was a soupy sloppy mess - like someone dumped a jar of pasta sauce into a bowl and added some rice and protein (the mussels were the only decent part of the dish). I tried the other dishes that my party ordered - the burger was dry, the fries were soggy and cold, the thai turkey salad was drowning in dressing and tasted nothing like anything thai. And, we waited at least 30 minutes for our food to come. The place was busy, but I think that is because there are so few options in East Falls. Won't be going back for a third try :(

Service was good prices were fine. Cozy place to have your lunch. They have small bakery too

Le bus is famous for the bread... Which is delicious. But did you know they also have a delicious restaurant in East falls? I had the jambalaya which was delicious and my wife had the salmon also good.

The service was great too. All in all I'm impressed and I like this one better than the one in manayunk.

We dined at Le Bus a few months ago with next-door neighbors. Yesterday we decided to try Sunday breakfast (they open at 9 on Sundays). I had an omelet with cheddar, peppers and onions. My wife had poached eggs. Absolutely delicious, nice service, plenty of good coffee, a very good experience and we will be back.

My boyfriend and I went here for an impromptu dinner date. The restaurant offers a very inviting atmosphere and everyone was pleasant and friendly. There was a small mix -up with our order but before either of us became frustrated or annoyed our wait staff took care of the situation and were very apologetic and included dessert. All in all, the food was filling and we received excellent service while we were there. We will definitely be back!!
