R2L Restaurant

The staff at R2L are so accommodating and professional. We decided to have our post wedding dinner with our family and friends at this restaurant after a few weeks of searching. We were most impressed by the views over looking the beautiful city of Philadelphia and their menu. As foodies, it was important that we share a delicious meal with our loved ones. We also saw vegan options that accommodated our minister's diet.

Our initial plans for our ceremony did not look promising due to inclement weather, and R2L graciously allowed us to use a small space for our ceremony. It was perfect and we are forever grateful for their kindness and generosity. The food was excellent, the views were picturesque, and the atmosphere created a calm vibe. We highly recommend treating yourself to great culinary experience.

Sexy spot. Great date night or even just for a drink with your friend at the bar. Bartenders make excellent drinks. Decent drink prices.

Food was wonderful, view was spectacular, but we felt VERY rushed. From the moment you walked in and we’re seated the wait staff brought drinks then 3 mins later wanted our appetizer order and our main dish order and they came out immediately, which is okay but we really wanted to enjoy our time out together. After we ate they immediately cleaned up and took our dessert order. All in all we were only there for maybe an hour and 15. For the price of the food I would have really liked to stay longer and enjoy the restaurant.

You never know what you're going to get when you go to a restaurant with such a stunning location. . . sometimes they get complacent and phone in the food. Not R2L. The view was spectacular of course, but the food was prepared, plated, and served with exquisite care. There's an open kitchen and I watched the chef for several minutes and was amazed with the precision and obvious expertise as he made sure everything was perfect before sending dishes out. I can't ever remember having better veal than what I was served at R2L, and my wife and I loved the entire experience.
