Cafe Lift

Visited on 7/21. The food was solid for the most part with the exception of the bread that came with the avocado toast. It was extremely hard and difficult to eat. The server wasn’t very friendly or attentive to details. We were extremely nice to her but she didn’t anticipate needs by providing or asking if needed straws or even asking if we wanted anything to drink. I’m fully aware that with covid some people are a tad off but it’s the small things that require little to no effort that threw us off. Reviews like this aren’t meant to belittle anyone, instead, to improve processes and quality in service/experience.

One of my favorite brunch spots. Can feel a little pricey but very worth it. Great service while there too. They have a text service when the lines are long so you can wander around rather than wait in line.

What an unexpected little gem in an unexpected place. We stayed at a Sonder property nearby (if you don't know what that is, look it up) and we went here for Sunday breakfast. My husband had this crepe-thing which was one of the best breakfast items he has ever had. Great coffee too, because you have to have good coffee. Go a little early because it is hopping. Loved it!

Fantastic food. We were told 25 min wait and were seated in less than 10 min. Despite being New Year’s Day and a packed house, our order was taken as quick as possible and the food came out in a reasonable time. All in all, great choice. PS it’s a BYOB joint. Bring it, drink it and enjoy your food.
