L'Angolo Ristorante

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Staff was accommodating. Excellent. Better than a 5 star rating.

Pros: Food was amazing, service was great, waiter was knowledgeable, place was clean, food was prompt, decor was authentic especially the lights.

Cons: Entrance is through the kitchen essentially, place is cramped very tight. Not the best impression as you're walking through. Not easy to find the place, finding parking is atrocious.

Went here for my birthday last month, brought my 5 year old and my friend. I was slightly claustrophobic at the table we were sitting at, but overall the food and the lights and service just overpowered the cons. 4.5 out of 5 stars. They would really excel in more of a center city location, but I would definitely go here again.

My family and I had an incredible meal and experience at this restaurant. The food was spectacular and the service was even better. We highly recommend this small, quaint homey restaurant.

This is a very good Italian restaurant in South Philly. The restaurant is cozy and authentic on the inside. Its BYOB which is great. The service is good and the staff are very friendly.

It's been a few years since I first went to L'Angolo and jumped at the chance to go back. It's still as awesome as I remembered. The braciole was delicious, as was the beet salad. The wait staff was supper friendly and attentive. I'm told the 1 waiter, who doesn't look old enough to vote, recently bought the restaurant from the original owners. It was nice to see him out on the floor busting his rump with everyone else. Congrats to him! I can't recommend L'Angolo highly enough. Make sure to make a reservation because seating is limited. Enjoy!
