    The food was good and the service was great. I even had a take out order for later. The butter cream cakes was just right not to sweet and not dry. I will be back. Social distancing was in place mask was required.

    The Melrose Diner needs some upgrading. Better lighting inside the diner would be great. It looks kind of dismal inside. I actually dined outside in their parking lot. That wasn't bad. They had a big tent for you to eat under and separate small tables to eat under with the umbrella covering. My coffee, philly cheese steak omelette and pancakes tasted awesome! The pancakes were the best, I ever tasted in a diner....??!! I would go back just for the pancakes. They were fluffy, fully cooked and very moist and not dry at all! Kudos to the cooks! The only thing was the ketchup seemed a little sour, but, other than that the food was pretty good.

    My two dear friends John and Dave and I had breakfast this morning at the Melrose food was excellent..
