I have been to the UK and had food and drink at several pubs in England, Scotland, and Ireland. If you've had a better UK pub experience in the Philadelphia area than Victoria Freehouse, I'd love to hear about it. Perfectly-fried chips, gooey melty cheese, flaky pie crusts, complex savory curry sauce, and a selection of ciders and ales that put most of Philly's bars to shame. As a bonus, they've got some of the nicest staff you could ever ask for. Do yourself a favor and walk to the Front Street section of Olde City. You won't regret it.

Wow! This restaurant is incredible... The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I can't wait to go back here on a date night with my wife, we loved our experience!

I can't say how authentic this place is, since I've never been to England. But... they did play a fair amount of awesome 80s British New Wave while we ate. And... my sausage was HUGE!!! I know how that sounds, but it really was. Enormous. I've never had such a big, tasty sausage.

Victoria Freehouse has the BEST fish and chips you have EVER tasted! They also have desert that will have you yearning for MORE!!! The owner and the staff are super awesome! This is the type case of place that they make you feel like family even if it's your first time there.

I can't wait for until I go back again!!

This was a very quiet bar set in a low foot traffic location, the friendly but awful bartender made it interesting enough. The bar has an open mic and trivia on Wednesday, I picked trivia which was fun but I only came in third so their was no happy ending for me. Their food was ok but they did have a good selection of beer, I would go back for a beer and a trivia night.
