“This little cafe is fantastic. The person waiting on us was super nice. Our food came out quickly and was probably in the top 2 or 3 bagel sandwiches I've ever had. Also had a cold brew coffee that was great and my daughter said her Dragon fruit Refresher was way better than Starbucks. They had a nice selection of baked goods and Penn State Creamery ice cream. Yummy! This will probably be my go to place from now on when I want to grab something to eat in the area.”

“Truly one of the best dining experiences anywhere in all my world travels. And right here in God's country, Pa! I had the Egg Melt and it rivaled any breakfast sandwich anywhere and I do believe it is the best. Better than the famous Croque Monsier in Paris. Service was fast and polite and the atmosphere clean bright and new! But in the end its the actual food that is paramount and remarkable. Im excited to have many more visits and experiences with the amazing menu. Thanks Mae and team for bringing this great addition to Galeton.”

“Was in town late Friday night for work. We got there 15 minutes before the kitchen closed in their Taproom, but we still got served. Was not expecting such a great menu; my wife and I both got steaks. There was also a pool table and live music. It's a really neat and historic property, and there was obviously a lot of money put into restoring it. They are super dog friendly and the accommodations are on point. The owner, Chandra, was wonderful and made herself available via cell phone 24/7. My wife had left a pair of pants in the room and they are mailing them back to us on their dime. We cannot wait to go back later in the year when the weather is warmer and we have more time to spend there. Highly recommend.”

“The diner is new to town, opening 11/23/21, and I've been both days since opening for lunch. They offer a big breakfast menu, a decent lunch menu, and a big supper menu. They have a daily special, soups, and chili. Day 1, went for the cheeseburger. They offer build-a-burger. Mine was great and they're going to be known as a "go to" spot for a good burger! Fresh beef, juicy, and I'd guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 1/2lb! Just .99 to add fries. Day 2. Got the chicken tender sub special with a cup of parm sausage kale soup that was very good. Waitresses were great and for a grand opening day, food was cooked well, tasted great, and prep time fast. Everything felt seamless, like the place has been in busineess for years. Gert's restaurant was a diner in town, years ago, that was a social hub, where families ate, and neighbors gathered. This feels like that.”

“This creamery is so amazing. The people that own this place, are the actual sweetest. Their ice cream is so creamy and they make it themselves. 🙌🏽 We go here whenever we are at our cabin, it's just too good.”

“To be honest, this place was better than I was expecting. The location is great! It's only 20 min away from Cherry Spring State Park, other parks, lakes and trails. Some local people said, the place was closed for years and now they just opened recently. I understand it take time to straighten things up but I wish they replaced/cleaned the air conditioners before they opened. the a/c filter in our room was so dirty and the room we stayed in had a smell of moisture. Other than that, everything was great! Great staff, reasonable price!”

“Wife and I ate dinner here Friday, first time under new owners. Pleasantly surprised that it's coming back. We had Prime Rib, the weekend special. It was cooked to perfection and we had enough leftover for supper the next day. The wait staff were very good, right there when we wanted something. Prices seem to be about average and it's the only fine dining in town. Highly recommend.”

“What a great atmosphere from the good old days. Everything was period correct clear down to the menu. Old music boxes on the table, they were out of order, but very cool to see what it used to be like. The memorabilia on the shelves and walls made you think you were in that period of time. The serve was on point and the food was awesome. The desserts were amazing. This place is a must stop if you're passing by. It's a cash only business, so you must go to the store next door for the ATM or pay with a check.”

“Best wings I've ever eaten, wish I didn't live 4 hours away or I'd be here more often! Super crispy and swimming in sauce - just the way I like it! A great place to go in a not so populated place. Food is great and reasonably priced. Wifi is available and free too which is nice when you don't have cell service for 2 hours.”

“They have really good food here. One side is just the restaurant and the other is the bar. You can get food on both sides but keep in mind that they allow smoking in the bar side. The beers are nice and cold too!!”

“Let me start by saying that my colleagues and I order frequently. The food is excellent and keeps us coming back, however the lack of a delivery driver is a large inconvenience because we cannot always leave to pick it up. The service is hit and miss; attitudes depending on the day, which can also be said about anybody. I dont eat in the restaurant very often but the last time I did we had slow but decent service, however I wasn't asked for a refill. With each job and each place of business comes with it's own obstacles, and with constantly updating systems and rotation through employees brings it's own problems that cannot be helped or avoided. However, mix-ups happen to occur often, whether its miscommunication or just lack of attention is unknown to me, but getting a small part of our order wrong every time is increasingly irritating, as it is becoming expected with each order we place. More often then not have we called during lunch time to get fried food and have been told the fryer is being cleaned, which is most likely a large loss of income during that time when it could be cleaned at a better time, i.e. on a weekend or at night or earlier in the day. My family and I have eaten at OIP for years and it has become a place of nostalgia. I have seen 3 or 4 owners come and go and the one thing that always stays the same is the pizza. Keep it that way. A piece of advice I would give, is to keep things ordered and in stock, and don't discontinue certain items people enjoy, i.e. CHICKEN FRIES! The constantly changing hours are confusing, and I'm sure it revolves more around being short staffed, but that's more of a loss of income and the last thing I want to see is OIP go out of business. I am aware that alot of these complaints are petty, however they are things that are expected from a restaurant, and business in general. Nobody is perfect, and I don't expect perfection. I want to see the love and passion in the restaurant that the owners I grew up with had. I dont expect fast food service, I expect professional waiting service. In conclusion, Coudersport is very small, and if you have the patience and want a good meal, go to OIP. People tend to respond to constructive criticism better than they respond to negative feedback. No matter how service is on some days, my colleagues and family and I still go back to OIP almost every week. I am open minded and hopeful for improvement and will continue to order from OIP.”

“I have only been there twice for a meal and both times were so great. I’m very picky and very precise when it comes to my food. The steak salad was so tender; I was blown away, and also with the flavor of it. I got the homemade pretzels and the cook accidentally put sugar instead of salt, and I loved it so much I’m always going to ask for that now. They are freaking amazing. Can’t wait to go back. I’m a major foodie if you can’t tell.”

“From the outside it doesn't look like much but inside you'll find some of the warmest hospitality anywhere. Mike and Vicky are friendly and real easy going. Felt like we were visiting with family. We had bacon burgers and fries. Good portion of fries , the burger was juicy and there was bacon in every bite. It's a little gem tucked away in the Mountains of Austin, PA.”

“Great food, a slip up on understanding the order, but everything was great. Good service. They have small portion options of a lot of their menu. Ice cream, pies, cookies. You can't go wrong here, even pizza.”
