If you are ever up in Schuylkill Haven, this is a really fun diner. 50s decor and music. Good food too.
It’s a bit pricey. Great mashed potatoes and other kinds of sides. The fries wasn’t that great. They gonna need more improvement on making certain things. I would honestly give it a 4 or 5 if my fries wasn’t soggy and tasteless. It would be a greater place if they did some improvements. Great service from the workers in the dinner. I don’t like talking bad about food places, but I travel food places and explore new kinds of foods. People should be aware of the quality food given to them at food places.
Best diner I've been too. First time ever and I won't go anywhere else. The atmosphere is so amazing. From the music to the people. Everything! Great job!
One of the few places open 24 hours around here... I like going super late at night just before the early morning breakfast people come in. It's usually near empty at that time. The food is good, not bad but also nothing too memorable. I really it were more convenient for me to get to, because then I'd probably visit a few times a week.
The Manheim Diner is a 50s style diner inside and outside. They outside appears to be stainless steel with lots of neon lights. It grabs your attention and is easy to spot. The inside is set up exactly like you would expect. Lots of booths and a bar area you can sit in. For what it is worth the booths are the older tables with the red vinyl couch type seat. The amazing part was when I sat in the booth I did not sink so low that I felt like a kid at the adult table. The padding was in good condition. I can't remember the last time I found booths like that. The burgers were excellent and the milkshakes were better. I'm not sure if I will be in Schuylkill Haven again, but I would go back to the Manheim Diner if I was in the area.
