“First real stop here. (I have to phrase it that way because the first time I tried to go there, their bread machine had died. But they we stíll kind on that quick stop.). Today I grabbed two sandwiches, chips, drinks, and a few sides. It's probably a little pricier than I would want to pay for such things. BUT, my sandwich was quite good - so that makes up for it. The staff was very friendly and good. I mention this, because one of the items that was supposed to be on my sandwich... they were out of it. They were very apologetic, offered me something else in place of that ingredient, and offered me an additional side. That going above and beyond is an awesome thing in a business like this. All in all, I would certainly go back here again.”

Owner is making a lot of improvements to the building for a better dining experience. Was a tad outdated. But it was always nice going in there and seeing the same people and the same atmosphere. There is always someone there to help you out. Definitely a must eat if you stop in Lewisburg. You won't be disappointed. You can order online or over the phone. Or in person. Came for lunch today had the Reuben Bites for starters, the black and tan burger with onion rings was spot on. My lunch mate had the mahi mahi tacos. Save room for desert... The molten lava cake and peanut butter pie we're delish. Nice selection of beers on tap fairly priced. Nice atmosphere.. Can definitely see this place getting packed on a Thursday and Friday night. Will definitely stop by again.”

“I attended bucknell university and was well versed in the product served at house of pizza. I'd go with friends to get a pepperoni and burger pizza. It was extremely satisfying- both texture and taste. I stayed one summer and would get lunch there a few times a week- steak sandwich or mixed cold cuts. Also very happy with those sandwiches for the price. I graduated in 2010. I returned in 2017 for a retirement party and the quality AND ENTIRE STAFF were the same. Truly a timeless institution in lewisburg.”

If you want to have a conversation with your date or your family, I would recommend asking for a table on the 2nd floor. "Lively" is great but when there are two large tables of "cackling hens" beside you, the sound is deafening. I recommend not to sit in the "sports bar" section, unless you prefer a night of shouting. Otherwise, it was a great dinner!!”

The staff was friendly and very efficient. My only complaint is that it was very busy when I was there which made it a bit loud, but the food definitely outshined the noise. “I made a reservation for a Tuesday night to take my daughter who studies in town. I chose—according to Google— a fancy restaurant. Indeed it was. We ordered the duck and a beef burger. The size of both dishes was incredibly big. Besides, it was really good food. The location is good. It is in the heart of the Lewisburg downtown. The restaurant is cozy and it has a full bar. Our dessert was a huge piece of chocolate bread pudding. My only but was the size of the lump of ice cream, which was really tiny compared to the size of the cake itself.”
