Best, but also most expensive restaurant in Oil City. Great place for a romantic evening with the significant other. Prepare to spend a lot of money. But, also prepare to partake in the best tasting food. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and service! The steak salad was more steak (perfectly done) than salad, and delicious with fresh greens and onion rings. The haddock was perfectly done, nicely blackened. Don't miss the garlic parmesan cauliflower- also nicely done with lots of butter and parm. We were so full we couldn't get dessert- next time.
I love the food, it is definitely 5 star. The service is always great. The only reason I give it 4 vs. 5 stars is the atmosphere. The restaurant itself sits down a few steps below street level and it is long and narrow. It is what it is, but it seems a bit strange. That said, I go back frequently.
Attentive service, excellent food. Large portion California shrimp and crab salad appetizer was tasty and plenty for two. Garlic toast accompanying was buttery but with a nice crunch. Jalapeno corn side was hot in Temp, mildly spicy and corn was not overdone. Filet was cooked perfectly to medium rare, with a nice sear and modestly seasoned. All this with a cold beer. Delicious!
Tried the she crab soup and calimari (they were specials of the day), and the steak medallions. All were excellent. Would definitely go back.
