The Back Porch Restaurant

was at the back porch Saturday August 10. Had a fantastic server Melissa. She was very attentive and very friendly and helpful. Dropped food on my top and she wasn't anywhere near me but within a few minutes she was back with club soda for the stain and even a new napkin next time back will definitely will ask for her Great asset to the reasutant. Located inside a restored 1806 house, this is a delightful gem along the Monongahela River. I came to find this restaurant by accident and was delighted afterward. The service was great, my table outside was comfortable with nice views and the food excellent.

Fantastic!! Everything from the appetizer to dessert was top notch. Just happened to be there on a night when one of the specials was a rib eye steak. It was prepared perfectly. If you go, just hope you get John for your waiter. He did a great job!! My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary here. Couldn't have asked for a better place. Thanks to a co-worker for suggesting. Will definitely be back. Can't wait.

My family and I have been celebrating special occasions or just having a delicious meal out at The Back Porch since the mid 1980s. Having eaten many meals abroad, I always know that The Back Porch holds true in service, finer American cuisine, & the atmosphere of any dining establishment that I have ever been.

We are now on the fourth generation of pleased family diners, and I am sure that number will increase in years to come. Casual elegance & consistently delicious for decades (all at a modest cost) make The Back Porch worth the drive from anywhere.
