Unbelievably good. It's nowhere near my home, 20 mins out of the way from work, but I find excuses where I can to head out that way for takeout. Can't speak to dining-in, as we haven't done that yet, but to-go orders have always been ready promptly, and everything we've tried there has been fantastic.
My first time dining here. This restaurant is amazing. Food was made to order right in front of you. Owners are extremely kind and welcoming. The menu items are authentic and one of a kind. Try as many items as you can. Everything was delicious!
Omg, best dinner ever!!! We lived in Seattle 2 decades and ate more Korean food than most.... And I must say Golden Pig beats them ALL!!!!
Highly recommended. We even brought more cole slaw home for later, even after a meal each and 2 appetizers....
Worth the trip out of Pittsburgh!!!
Very nice people who own this restaurant and very good food! I can't complain about anything. Lovely little restaurant.
Having lived in Seoul, South Korea for several years, I was on the lookout for some good Korean food in the Pittsburgh area. Sadly, most of the choices are either way too overpriced, supremely disappointing, or both. However, down a small highway south of the city in the town of Cecil there is a tiny brick building that houses Golden Pig. This unassuming little building is where Golden Pig's owners, a Korean couple, make home-style Korean food for reasonable prices.
As many others have said, the shop is tiny. It can fit maybe 10 or 12 people max. Not to mention the fact that, for some of us, it's quite a drive to get down there. However, I will say that if you are looking for the most authentic Korean food in the Pittsburgh area, Golden Pig is about as close as you can get without breaking the bank. The owners are friendly and the food is delicious. What more can you ask for? Well, more seating, I suppose, but I'm willing to overlook that, all things considered.
Highly recommended!
