Good food good wine. Great history....really enjoyed this place. Ohhh and great service!

Excellent food- excellent service- excellent ambience. My favorite place to eat in the Washington area. The menu is great and the staff is on point.

We were in town for a wedding and we were all arriving at different times... by the time we got everyone together we were a party of 22 hungry people... most of us had driven 6+ hours from New York... so we were lucky to find a restaurant to take such a large party at the last minute and pretty close to closing time... the food was excellent, the wine and beer list was extensive... and our waitress, Jessica was the best... very patient and accommodating... I highly recommend Palazzo 1837 if you're in the area or even if you have to travel a few extra miles.

Delicious food! I had the Lasagna, it was so tasty and well made that even though I was full, I wanted to continue eating. My family and I were a very large group but Jessica did a fantastic job with the service. The interesting decor and ambiance of the restaurant gives the feeling as if one is dining at a room that is part of a museum.

Great service and true homey feel. My husband and i went for our anniversary and had such a relaxing dinner. We sat on the porch, and it felt like we were right at home, but with WAY better Italian food. The portions are perfect, prices competitive, and delicious wine. I wish we got our waitress's name because she rocked it!
