Crust is perfect!! Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside. Good value for the money. Friendly staff!
Please keep this place on business!!! A1 pie and super clean! Smells so good in there...
We were driving around, looking for a dinner place, when we saw their sign and decided to try them out. Good call! This was probably the best tasting pizza we had in Pittsburgh in the last fifteen years!!
The location is in a strip mall off of route 19. You kind of have to know where to look for it, or use your GPS to find it. Inside, it is minimalist. Concrete floor. Industrial tables and chairs. Do it yourself ordering. Plastic plates and forks.
You can order ahead, but since we had no idea they existed, we looked over the laminated menu on the table and settled on The Woodsman, size small, and a salad. Bottled drinks are available in a cooler behind the counter. They are BYOB with a $5 corkage fee, but we did not ask about what kind of glasses they have. I suggest bringung your own.
The salad was pretty standard with lettuces, red onions, green peppers, tomatoes, and cheese. It was arranged well though, and the accompanying dressing was nicely vinegary and not too oily.
The pizza was great.
Medium thick crust. Not greasy. Crust was seasoned and baked throughout, but not burned. Toppings were ample, well distributed, seasoned well, and the combination worked great together. Our total bill was less than $15 per person and we took leftovers home!
We're definitely coming back.
In the same strip mall as Planet Fitness. We visited there on a Sunday evening. We pulled up out front, no cars in the lot and it looked dark inside. This is because of the of the reflective tinting on the storefront glass. We didn't see anyone inside and were sitting on the fence about going in when we saw the young man behind the counter.
We went in, ordered two specialty pizzas and it was a delightful surprise. A sign indicated BYOB, we had bottled ice water.
I recommended it whole heartedly.
