Red Lobster

DELICIOUS! Service is superb! It could be a little brighter inside though. It is kinda dark.

It was okay. Not too great for a restaurant who's name is affiliated with seafood. The lobster tail was on the smaller side with little meat. The crab legs were tiny, kind of soggy, and hard to crack. I did manage to pull out a few succulent pieces of crab meat from the legs. The shrimp scampi and fried shrimp was really good. And of course the infamous Cheddar Bay Biscuts are always on point! If you go, your food will be warm and good, just don't expect a lot from the quality of the size of the seafood.

This could have been 5 stars, food was great, I mean you can easily get better seafood elsewhere but not for this price. The service was friendly and very pleasant, I had three kids with me and the waitress made small talk with each one of them at some point in the meal. The only downfall was that my apps came then 5 minutes later the salads and while my waitress was putting the salads on the table a runner showed up with our dinners on a tray. I ordered out apps first and then our dinners to try to avoid this. I absolutely hate being rushed during dinner. And this is so easy as a waiter to avoid. The restaurant was not busy so it shouldn't be about turning tables. Normally I would have sent the food back and told them to make it fresh, but my son was starved so I let it go.

We had a wonderful meal. It was my Birthday today and we had the best, kindest, helpful and efficient waiter today. His name was Derrick!! What a kind man. You should be glad he is working for you!! Thanks for making my Birthday supper a nice time!!

Red lobster is a good go to when you want seafood and there’s not a lot of choices. That’s not meant as an insult it’s just what it is. The food is fresh and ok. Service is usually good and prices are reasonable for what you get. It’s not a high end seafood joint or a specialty restaurant like you’d find in key west but it’s acceptable and decently priced. It is what it is and we eat there often.
