“Wow. What an incredible experience for a quick, delicious lunch. The Pho Valley (their signature soup) is what I ordered. What a clean dish. Some Pho is murky, or muddy with a bland, undistinguished taste. The Pho Valley is by far, the best Pho I have ever had. It builds upon the palette in layers. Spicy, sweet, savory all hit you at separate points in each bite. A perfect blend of spices accentuate the flavor points of the soup. The rice noodles are cooked to perfect consistency. The meat is tender, and filled with the flavor of the broth, and the meatballs were a nice addition to the already surprisingly delicious meal. My son had the Canh Ga (Chicken wings) and loved them. I cannot wait to go back, and sample the rest of the menu. Thank you so much Pho Valley for a great lunch, and hopefully many more to come!”

“I had my first visit there this past week. I enjoyed it enough to go back the following night. The draft selection is interesting given it's not in a high traffic area. They have some really unique selections and actually know how to pour a Guinness the right way! The establishment is very easy to get to and the parking lot area is pretty well maintained. I went in to grab a bite to eat the first night only to find that the kitchen closed around 9 on certain nights. The following day i went back and tried their wings and I also ordered a cheese steak sandwich, which was really excellent. I have heard nothing but good things about their menu. Their service is great. The crowd seems to be mostly local and doesnt seem to be rowdy at all. I'll happily add that last star after another visit or two.”

“This 'might' date me , but I ate at the Blaine Hill BBQ in the mid-1980s when it used the old Blaine Hill firehouse and served the best BBQ in the Mon Valley . Don't knock Monongahela , both Joe Montana and Stan Musial were from there ! The food was awesome , the clientel ethnic . So good that grocery stores throughout the Valley sold home-made and labled bottles of their sauce . I still blame them for some of my Cardiac problems , but hey you only live once .”

“The waitresses are usually fairly quick but the cooks. Need to speed things up a bit.salad bar usually stocked pretty good. But we had to wait 20 minutes to get the soup bowls out. People were using their coffee cups and asking for coffee refills in a new cup. Otherwise food is good at the monongahela store and i like the idea that the waitress now takes your bill and payment so you no longer have to wait for the cashier to seat people before you can pay”
