“Lovely location to get some dinner in The Hideout. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. We arrived a little less than an hour from when they were closing, but they received us and sat us quickly. The food was super delicious (especially for someone with certain dietary restrictions). “This is a unique little gem that I'm excited to learn more about! You shouldn't hesitate checking them out. This is a great meeting place for catching up with friends or meeting clients. As the barista, that served me today, said "this is Honesdale's best kept secret." But why?!? Everyone needs to know they are there. I'm not sure how I've missed this! They have drinks and food; Anatomy Craft Coffee Bar coffee, tea and espresso drinks, Maae's Juice Bar smoothies and bowls, Follow the Smoke BBQ, Brother's Bagels, and who knows what I missed. They have limited menus to make it simple and not too overwhelming, yet plenty of different offerings for everyone. There are multiple businesses in one here and that's a unique concept. They have seating options from a couch or individual chair to table and chairs to gather at. They have music nights. They have a suggestion board and comments board (love this BTW). They have a few games and a shelf of books. On seperate floors I hear they have a tutoring space, office spaces, and conference room (this part I don't quite get yet, but I'm intrigued). Over all just a very welcoming feel and great place. It was clean and the vibes were good. The best part- I was very pleased with my iced caramel macchiato and everything bagel with plain smear. The pricing is a little steeper than I expected, especially for the bagel. (I think bagels were $2.50 or with cream cheese it's $4.50.) However, I think that's pretty normal for this kind of Cafe style place?! I have to elaborate on the coffee though. While they only offer one size, it was pretty darn good. Smooth, not over powering, just the right amount of oat milk and caramel. Was definitely not bitter. I do not give out solid 5 star reviews often, but this is earned. I don't have a complaint. I will be back again and look forward to trying more things, especially food from Follow the Smoke. The true test will be if they are consistent. That is the key. But if you're reading this before deciding on a new place to try in Honesdale, go, try them out. You won't regret it.”

Our trick to purchasing a dozen & not eating them all in a day - we get them home and immediately freeze what we don't eat. Microwave for :30 when we want them - put them in the toaster and they are delicious! Staff is always friendly too! Vinny's is opening a location in Hawley at Pine Tree Plaza on Route 590 (next to Barb Wallace) as well as a new location in Hamlin. We cannot wait!”

“Best bar food as voted by several of our group of 8 that desended upon this small bar for libations and dinner. Limited menu in this case means spot-on portions and flavors. The "kitchen" (grill and fryer) at least from what we saw, was behind the bar. Bar tender was also very good, accommodating rearranging of the tables to get us all together, taking our orders, then delivering and checking on us several times (even turned the music down when we were all shouting at one another). Totem Pole may be out of the way but worth the stop.”

“We're in the middle of a pandemic and there is a labor shortage. This is a small, family run business. Sometimes, the wait is a little long, just like everywhere else. The staff, however, is accommodating even under pressure and very nice. Also, the food is amazing. There are a lot of vegetarian options, and overall a good choice of different cuisines.
