Bristol Oyster Bar

Wow! What an experience! The staff was amazing and the raw oysters were amazing! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Also, you must try the smoked fish platter. They have an outdoor patio.

Highly recommend. First time visit and found a clean, well run restaurant, with friendly staff. Note there is parking in the rear.

A focused menu offers seafood selections a cut above the typical. But, the oysters alone are worth the trip: fresh and expertly shucked.

My wife has special dietary needs and the chef was available to answer questions.

Enjoyed the pork and scallop plate, and the corn and scallop chowder that featured light and tasty flavors. Both scallops and pork were cooked to perfection.

The chowder had a large scallop that left no doubt it was “Scallop and Corn”.

Wife loved the huge veggie plate.

All food was fresh and prepared by people who care about what they are doing.

Both server and support staff were attentive.

It is a very nice place. The staff was excellant! The service was great. The food was very good. If your looking for just the right amount of very tasty food this is your place. The oysters were exceptional in taste and quality fresh from the ocean. Love the raw bar!!!

I have visited the Bristol Oyster Bar a few times since the new owner reopened. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and always cozy inside. The service is consistently exceptional, quick, and personable. They have an impressive cocktail menu and bottle selection -- fantastic Bloody Mary as well as some creative spins on classic cocktails. The littlenecks and oysters from the raw bar are the freshest around, and the shuckers are knowledgeable about the product. If you like scallops, I highly recommend the scallop and jam app. The scallops were cooked to perfection and beautifully complemented by the flavors on the plate. I also enjoyed the drunken littlenecks. If a member of your party is not a fan of seafood, they have something for everyone. The beef tacos are delicious and always a good choice. This is THE place to get seafood if you're in Bristol!
