Brix Restaurant | Newport Vineyards

Great atmosphere with both table and couch seating and views of the vineyards as well as the stacked barrels in the winery. Wednesday is flight night and I loved everything I tested. Attached tasting room and gift shop. Great food. I will definitely go back.

Fantastic food. Everything is sourced from local farms and the freshness is notable because flavors are at there best!! The atmosphere was very nice. We did not sit at the bar but had a nice open set up. Nice" Real" fireplace type lounge.
The service was FANTASTIC. Our server was so down to earth and adorable. Personality A++. Frequent check ins. And unbeknownst to me a wing woman for my Date. ( First)
We occupied a table for 4 hours ( date went well and have a second!!) and were 2nd to last table to leave; and never once were we rushed..

Location. Location. Koi Pond. Brix and Taproot, you can't mention one without the other. The ambiance and overall location is excellent. You don't need to decide between beer and wine, excellent. The beer was okay but, I generally feel Taproot needs a little more experience to mature the beer profiles. I didn't have any wine but, my wife enjoyed it. The food and food service was good with some nice daily specials. Both locations are worth visiting, especially as the outside seating options become viable.

The food here was AWESOME! There was a long wait for the food but when it came out it was definitely worth the long wait. I will be coming here everytime I'm in the area. The wine and beer selection is excellent! I can't say enough about the place. The bartender was great and made an excellent blood orange Cosmo! Try the rose ice pop!
