Newport Tokyo House

Very kind and efficient service. Standard Japanese menu items. My lunch plate was well-prepared and nicely plated, but did lack soul flavorwise. Still a good value for the money.

cozy little spot for my husband & I to have a sushi date and get a little tipsy on warm sake :) service was attentive and the food was awesome. We definitely enjoyed ourselves

On our list for places to go for the family. Whether Hibachi with the kids and an evening of entertaining good food or sushi and sashimi with my wife on the other side, it is a great place that is just a little off the beaten path of Newport.

I went there like two months ago and never had time to review it plus i don’t usually get enthusiastic while giving bad review. But its long overdue, about time.
We had sushi. Thats the only thing that is 3 stars. Just an average sushi nothing special. Actually for that price, you might argue its bad.

We had extra rice. Very small and pricy. Not mention that its very bland.
The staff were friendly but the service was less than average. Fir everything i wanted, i had to call them such as for water refills...

Sadly, I wouldn’t go back nor i would recommend it. The management shall do something about it specially considering their over priced dishes.

I LOVE the food at this place. I've ordered takeout several times. The staff are very lovely and helpful. They were so patient with me while I made my selection. I will definitely be going back here very soon.
