Affordable, cozy, and eclectic place to grab breakfast or lunch in Newport. The grilled cheese frittatas were really unique and delicious - I got the veggie one and I loved every bite. I also had a few bites of my partner's spud nuggets- such a unique texture and shape, really recommend getting some as a side!

Excellent food and service. The party melt was awesome. They have a great variety of sandwiches and they serve breakfast all day. What's not to love?!

I am never disappointed with this place. Great staff, really great lunch combos, and the Crackerdoodles are AMAZING!

My go to order is soup and whole sandwich, which I go for whatever soup of the day and the Steak and Greens wrap. It makes for a great salad, too.

A wee gem of a place serving the best toasted sandwiches. A huge choice available at reasonable prices. Young female staff member was extremely friendly and had good banter with customers.

Again sorry for the late review. I was hear about a week ago. Let's start with the restaurant is small and quaint. But that always seems to be where some of the best food is. The selection of grilled cheese is amazing and is paired with anything you can imagine. The sandwich and soup special is amazing. All the soups are definitely worth trying. The cookies are delicious. If you are a fan of good food and grilled cheese this is a must stop. If you love soup again a must stop. Hell even just for a cookie must stop. Scratch kitchen is what it implies made from scratch. Every grilled cheese is a homemade idea brought to life. Every soup made from scratch. This was a great experience. And I will definitely be back.
