This place has excellent atmosphere. A short view of the harbor. Portion size of the food is great.
My server was on point even when they messed up the order a little bit. She got it back in and out in no time.
Im a fsat soda drinker and when it was empty she flew to the table and refilled in no time.
The food is medium price i think for Newport area. Burger was 14 bucks and I think that is standard around town.
Def a spot u should check out.
First time visiting Newport from Massachusetts with my cousin. Stopped here while shopping, had a bowl of lobster bisque. It was absolutely delicious.???? If you want a tasty bisque this is the place.????
We stopped in for a late lunch while out shopping. I don't think I have ever been here before, if so, I forgot... The restaurant was quiet, as most are, late afternoon.
The best thing I can say about this establishment is that the view is incredible. Located in the Harbor, literally right on the water. The view is spectacular! Would be an amazing view if your on a first date and want to end dinner watching the sunset. Winning Instagram shots for sure!
There are many, many restaurants in Newport. Newport is a beautiful place with a lot of history. The restaurant industry out here is very competitive. I can only say that if I owned this place I would do a lot of things differently. I imagine the clientele consists mostly of tourists, with a few local boater or bar regulars who come for music and cocktails.
There are so many restaurants in such a small location, I can imagine it isn't easy. If you don't live VERY close by then you're coming in on a boat or have to cross two bridges to get here from anywhere in Rhode Island.
Beautiful spot, best I can say...
Had seafood dinner with a wonderful view overlooking the ocean. Was low tide and had fun watching people swim and looking for shells. Food was excellent and we were surprised when they asked how we wanted out fish cooked (rare to well done). Had never happened to us before. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
