Food was great in my opinion. First time I have had clam cakes and a crabby cake sandwich. Being from a landlocked state, we don't get seafood like this, usually whatever is caught from the local lakes, but this being RI, the food was fresh and tasty. One downside was the porta john outside. Really needs a good servicing.
Wife and I sat off in the car at Flo's and had their fish and chips. First of all who told us we needed two orders? If it's two of you one will do. The food was tasty and the chips where good also. Popular place lots of people in line for Flo's.
Lived walking distance from Flo's while I went to college. Their fry is phenomenal. Worth the wait and occasional odd hours. Best fish and chips I've had.
A quick decision to order take out resulted in a nice stop at this locals favorite. A big tent out back and small covered area up front to order and pick up the staff was kind and quick, considering the time for prepping the order.
Fish and chips were good, lacking salt but I'm glad they left it off as not everyone wanted more.
The fancy pagers make it easy to pick up food when there's a crowd like my experience.
Want to go back, get some ice cream and enjoy the view of the water from their outdoor seating area.
Prices have risen naturally. I just wish they would have kept the old number system on the shells. It was unique and one of a kind. If it's not broke don't fix it. That took out part of my childhood being excited to hold the shell and wait for my food. That was an old tradition now lost to modern technology. Otherwise good experience.
