“Adorable place with friendly staff. The breakfast menu sounded great, as well as the specials. The berry stuffed French toast was amazing. The croissant sandwich was okay, but nothing out of the ordinary...the bacon was pretty chewy. I was thinking it would automatically be made crispy as I saw that listed on the menu. Maybe my fault for not confirming. We found the home fries to be very salty. I would try again, if I am in the area - could have been an off day.”

“Diamond in the rough! My wife and I went here for New Year's Eve but we've been other times as well. We love the atmosphere, the building and the food is spectacular. The food is AMAZING! Did I already say that? The building is old and wonderfully charming. It was owned by The Cornell family, yes that one, and in the 50's was bought by the owner's father. The place has tons of history and Joe (the owner) can tell you all about it. Joe takes pride in purchasing high quality and fresh food. His son Mario is the head chef and consistently turns out food that you'd expect to find in expensive, upscale establishments. I had the braised short rib with asparagus risotto. This was a New Year's Eve special. The short rib wasn't short. It was a huge piece of short rib meat on a bone that slid right out. But the star of the dish was the risotto! I've been to Italian restaurants in Boston and Providence and Mario's risotto was twice as good as the Italian restaurants!”

“I went there Sunday night with family and friends. The food was fantastic!!! And the service was amazing!!!At one point We looked up at the clock and it was past the time of closing. The staff and manager were so nice and patient with us!!! They didn’t rush us out the door. We paid our bills and said our good nights and we were out the door. Food is always delicious and at first glance you might think prices are a bit high BUT when you see the portion sizes, you are more than happy to pay!! Wednesdays are full course specials and portions are not reduced on the specials either! Atmosphere is casual and relaxed with view of the water and on Friday nights some pleasant live background singer entertains the diners. Patio outside makes you feel like you are dining on the beach. “A quick decision to order take out resulted in a nice stop at this locals favorite. A big tent out back and small covered area up front to order and pick up the staff was kind and quick, considering the time for prepping the order. Fish and chips were good, lacking salt but I'm glad they left it off as not everyone wanted more. The fancy pagers make it easy to pick up food when there's a crowd like my experience. Want to go back, get some ice cream and enjoy the view of the water from their outdoor seating area.”

“The restaurant is immaculate, both inside and out, the service perfect, temperature of the restaurant was very comfortable, the food...for $16 I had a salad on a warm plate consisting of a variety of limp, warm, greens 2 tomato wedges, fresh onion. The chicken pot pie tasted freshly made, but not very palatable. I didn't complain about the food, in defense of the restaurant, because I didn't feel that they did anything wrong. The food was hot, fresh, but tasted terrible. I feel that it will be safe for my dogs to eat. I feed them only quality foods, and generally never table scraps. I ate maybe 1/4th of it. Certainly not worth the price. The portion was maybe equivalent to 2 "generic Banquet dinners". The dessert, bread pudding a la mode was a very large portion and the waitress suggested that my partner and I share it. It was an excellent portion and was very good.”
